Background

Born 31 October 1990 in a dingy, dirty motel room in the barrios of Tijuana, Talia's mother was killed by her organ trafficker boyfriend right after giving birth to Talia. Naturally this played right into her mother's plans - Tlazolteotl was a busy goddess with little time to spend raising another child. Ramon Zoll, however, was an up and coming trafficker with a secret yearning to have a daughter to call his own. Surely, Tlazolteotl thought, Ramon would have time to raise her daughter.

Ramon took Talia in as his own daughter, even though he was pretty sure he wasn't her biological father. More importantly, he raised her like a princess, particular after she took an unnaturally strong interest in "the family business" at the age of five. His mother, a mestizo woman with a strong Aztec/Mexica bloodline in her, made sure to instill a strong understanding of The Old Ways in Talia when Talia began to insist on helping her daddy in the organ trade.

By age fifteen, Talia had become a very enterprising member of the family organ cartel. She used Ramon's contacts and sphere of influence to its fullest, supplementing it with her steadily growing reputation as a true predator. There were many stories of the Zoll crew's young jaguar collecting organs from hospitals, crime scenes, and other unlikely locales; Talia's preferred method of collection, however, was luring in a mark like a predator drawing prey into an inescapable thicket before making her move, often with the assistance of her father's goons. It was the hunt and the slow, inevitable dance of her prey's doom that she relished most of all, though there was some grim satisfaction to completing the rituals of Abuela Zoll's ancestors.

At eighteen, Talia gathered her belongings and five of her father's toughest enforcers and headed to Las Vegas. Ramon grudgingly gave her permission to head off and start her own crew of organleggers, quietly smoothing in-roads for her in Vegas as a preemptive measure. From there, though, Ramon's precious little Hell Princess would have to earn her own keep and reputation by herself - much to her delight.

Within months she had thoroughly entrenched her small crew in the Vegas black market in a niche virtually all her own. More importantly - to her at least - she was being courted by Tyler Teutul, millionaire playboy, whom she had met and dazzled in her first week in Vegas. Lured in by her beauty and charisma, Tyler was hooked on the primal, animal danger that all but rolled off of Talia whenever he was with her. All the while, Talia was wrapping him around her little finger and making sure she would be poised to believably inherit his millions after she killed him and sacrificed him to the gods of her grandmother.

Somewhere along the way, Talia purposefully ensnared a handsome freelance chef as a stalker. Or, at least, that's what she told the police and the courts. Jacob Wygraf just couldn't win when it came to Talia Zoll and Tyler Teutul, not with how Talia played the system and planned ahead to make him seem ever more like a stalker obsessed with her. It was a bit less amusing than her predation of Tyler, but just as necessary to make her plans come to flawless fruition.

For her nineteenth birthday, Talia got married to Tyler Teutul, bringing her one step closer to her end game. Just six months later, days before the next part of her dark designs would have started, a drunk driver struck Tyler quite by accident outside of his office space just off The Strip. He was rushed to the hospital and stabilized before being sent home. Sensing her chance, Talia sacrificed Tyler to the Aztec gods in a horrible, bloody display with several of Jacob's culinary knives. The act was powerful and gained the notice of the Aztec pantheon, including Talia's mother, Tlazolteotl.

Instead of being questioned by the Clark County sheriff or the Las Vegas Police, Talia was questioned by Tlazolteotl… Which is to say, Tlazolteotl revealed to Talia her true nature, her true heritage, and the significance of the acts which she had been performing. Frankly, it was a hard sell in spite of Talia's faith, but Tlazolteotl's unique brand of stirring up the secrets of one's soul very much helped her case. As a result of Talia's faithful service to the Atzlanti, Tlazolteotl rewarded her with several strange gifts that she had come into possession of over the years.

Most impressively, Tlazolteotl gave her daughter a sacred Ocelotl Armor, though it had long since seen better days; although it provided substantially less coverage than it had originally, it was mystically endowed with all of its original protective capacity when worn, along with its other, more unique abilities. Tlazolteotl also gave to her daughter a machete whose handle was made of the flower stalk of a maguey plant and whose mighty blade was forged from the thorns of many maguey plants.

Along the same vein, Tlazolteotl also provided Talia with a mushroom that once belonged to Piltzentecuhtli, Aztec god of hallucinogenic plants and mushrooms. With a shake of the mushroom, Talia could release a cloud of spores that would allow her to sow illusions in the minds of others; the mushroom was also capable of endlessly providing medicinal or recreational samples of itself, though only a mouthful of the mushroom could be removed at any one time for such a purpose. Finally, Tlazolteotl also enchanted the bonds of Fate between Talia and her crew of Bad Men, ensuring their loyalty to her.

Personality

Talia Zoll-Teutul is not who she appears to be. She is not who you think she is nor who she claims to be. If you mistake Talia Zoll-Teutul for anything or anyone other than a beautiful death, you have already fallen prey to her. All she desires is money, power, influence, and the thrill of the hunt. It is her desire to hunt whatever prey she desires and to take it with terrifying force and skill.

Intelligent, beautiful, and murderous, Talia is best compared to a jungle cat. Her potential for brutality is significant, but she truly prefers to kill in a swift, elegant stroke that will keep others from knowing that she is on the prowl. She may even blend into the background, remaining hidden from prey and casual observer alike until she senses just the right time to strike, whether that background is a high-society gala, a biker bar, a nightclub, or anything in between.

Boldness of action and of thought are important to Talia, even if she does prefer to strike from the shadows. Few people can rival her ability to shift from stealthy predator to vicious killing machine when the circumstances present themselves; with her crew of enforcers, her ability to take bold action against enemies or against prey quickly multiplies. She actually likes to think of herself and her crew as a sort of commando squad, perfectly trained to work together, perfectly trained to operate in specific conditions; rarely seen until it is far, far too late.
