Tabitha Stevens was born in New York City to a single mother, Elisha. Elisha was an actress who specialized in Shakespearean theater, and went right back to work after her daughter was born. The only thing she ever said about Tabitha's father was that he was one of her leading men. Tabitha grew up in New York City's public school system and various day cares. After elementary school, she attended a Middle School for the Performing Arts where she developed her mother's love for the theater.

High school was a more typical experience for Tabitha, however. Rather than continue on the Performing Arts track, she slipped back into the mainstream program. While Tabitha continued to develop her interest in the theater, she also excelled in athletics. She became especially fond of lacrosse and archery.

While she was an above average student, Tabitha really didn't have any college aspirations. After high school graduation, she volunteered at homeless shelters when she wasn't auditioning for acting roles. Tabitha landed her first major role in a cable television miniseries, and was both surprised and ecstatic to receive her 'big break'. Hers was a small role in drama set in the England in the Middle Ages. She was on the plane when New York became New Atlantis.

Tabitha was still jet-lagged when her father visited her London hotel room. After Robin Hood explaining who he was as well as his role in getting her out of New York, he gave her a single instruction: she was to learn. He also gave her gifts of her birthright: a bow named for Sherwood Forest, a ring named after his mortal love Marian, a bracelet bearing his surname Loxley. On the bracelet were charms symbolic of two of his companions: Will Scarlet and Nasir, the Saracen. The acting role would not only start off her career, but it would give her an opportunity to learn to use her new skills until she could return to New York.

What started as a miniseries became a rousing success, and went into a second season. Taking up her father's gifts as well as his charge, Tabitha became the champion of those less fortunate than herself. The poor, the homeless, and the oppressed; London was full of people need. By day, she worked on set. Weekends and evenings, as well as whenever she wasn't needed for scenes, Tabitha spent her time in the seediest parts of London. When New Atlantis reverted into New York, she spoke with the director and was written out of the plot. Shortly after filming her departure scene, Tabitha was on a plane back to New York.

A bit about the character's personality.

Yeah, who do you know? Who is important?
