Music Purview

Note: These are merely designer notes for the custom Purview, drawing from both fan sources and original material. This is a worksheet, and the purview is not yet finished. Flavor text and in-depth explanations have not yet been written, nor have the mechanical aspects of all Boons.
Note: For the purposes of this Purview’s dice pools, Art is restricted to Art (Music) or Art (Singing).

Hero Level Boons

Music 1 – Composer’s Composure

  • Effect: Renders the Scion completely immune to sound-based attacks and negative effects. Loud noises, hypnotic music, or madness-inducing songs have no more effect than elevator music.

Music 2 - Uplifting Anthem

  • Dice Pool: Charisma + Art
  • Cost: 1L/target
  • Effect: Allies of the Scion within earshot double the stunt bonus for the next (activation successes) ticks.

Music 2 – Mimic Maestro

  • Dice Pool: Manipulation + Art
  • Cost: 1L
  • Effect: Can mimic any sound by singing or playing on a musical instrument, including multiple sounds/voices or combinations of such.

Music 5 – Phantom Amp

  • Dice Pool: None
  • Cost: 1W+5L/Square Mile
  • Effect: For the remainder of the scene, the Scion’s words, songs, and music require no speakers or amplification and can be clearly heard by everyone in the ‘audience,’ whether that includes thousands of screaming fans in a football stadium, a charging army of titanspawn on a deserted English moor, or a village of unsuspecting mortal in the path of a rampaging behemoth. Maximum range of 1 square mile for each 5 Legend points spent. This allows the Scion a greater rang for musical effects and Boons.

Music 8 – Aria of War

  • Dice Pool: Manipulation + Art
  • Cost: 1W+3L
  • Effect: This effect works exactly as a normal attack. It has a range of (Legend x 5) yards. In this case, Manipulation + Art replaces the normal attack roll, and Charisma replaces Strength for damage calculations. Damage is lethal. It is a Speed 5 attack and cannot be parried.
