Background
Daddy is a busy man, that’s what he told her when he picked her up from Juvie two years ago. “Daddy is a busy man and he doesn’t have time for rowdy shit’s like you.” Holiday has been in and out of lock up for most of her life, trespassing, shoplifting, joyriding, name something a stupid teenager has gotten busted for and you can bet Holiday has a story to tell about it. The young woman was thrust into the foster care system after her mother was killed a robbery of the Washington Height’s liquor store where she worked.
At the age of 18 Kalfu finally graced his daughter with an introduction, the sarcastic little convict still bumming around the neighborhood where she grew up. He picked her up from lockup and bought the girl a hot meal and explained to her the illustrious tale of her parents 2 hour love affair and her position within this mad world. The kid was thrilled and ready for him to put her to work. And she’s been a terror to anyone who might think about starting trouble in the Heights. Well anyone not on the pre approved list that is.
She’s seen her father once since then, pulling her from the drug deal going on in the local burial yard. Kalfu was pleased the girl was still alive, a number of close calls nearly took her off the streets for good. He lead Holiday to a grave at the back of the yard, a small weather beaten cross sticking out of the weeds. “You have to get serious, girl. For your Mama, for the people your doing a terrible job of protecting. If you want to get promoted, if you want your Daddy to introduce you to the rest of the family you’ll get serious. “ He gave her a gun wrapped up like a five year olds biggest and best birthday present. “Seek out the dark places, it’s where the titanspawn will be hiding. It’s your job to look where no one else is. Now go and make your father proud.” He gave her a kiss on the forehead and disappeared. The drug deal at the otherside of the cemetery erupted in an explosion of gun fire and Holiday took off running. Running out of the Heights and on to bigger things.
She’s determined to play a larger part in the war as has proved herself ready and willing to put herself into insane amounts of danger to do so. Currently she’s sharing a flat with a group of hipsters in Chinatown, mapping out the abandoned subway tunnels and running from the few rent-a-cop guards that remain.
Personality
Holiday is a risk taker at heart, every time she’s been busted for something it’s because of some stupid dare. The girl is nice enough, buys the street kids burgers if she picks up some extra cash. Laughs loudest at jokes no one thinks are funny anyway. Her rebelliousness stems from her inability to let stuff go, if she wants to see how something works then she’ll seek it out and take it apart. If someone knocks her down on the street she’s just as likely lift their wallet as she is to tackle them into traffic.
