Background

Connor's father was an extremely talented Irish-American musician. His voice and skill with the Irish harp caught Brigid's attention to a strong enough degree that she soon gave birth to a baby boy. For the next year, she and his father (they never married despite his wishes) raised him together before she placed him in his father's arms and disappeared right in front of the man with the injunction that he should tell the boy about his mother.

To his credit, he did and Connor grew up knowing his mother was someone special though not quite knowing what. Or who. But Irish legend is full of such tales and both he and his father had the soul of poets so never dismissed their speculation as being ridiculous or illogical. They traveled throughout the US and Great Britain when his father toured so the boy learned a lot. And while Connor didn't inherit his father's great skill at music, he was certainly good enough to entertain an audience. After a brief, failed experiment with college, he found his calling as a mechanic, being creative and nimble of finger.

And then one birthday - which is, unsurprisingly, Imbolc - his mother made herself known to him, gifted him with various items and turned his life upside down. Life has been much more fun ever since: literally, the stuff songs are made of, and he wouldn't change a thing.

Brigid's Torc	Purviews: Fire, Water	A solid gold torc in an ancient style, it is subtly engraved with the triscele of Brigid and the Ogham symbols denoting fire and water.
2-Dot Relic
Scabbard of Peace	Purviews: None	This leather scabbard is sized to hold a short sword and is embossed with gold. There is a single triscele stitched into it with gold thread in the exact center.
2-Dot Relic	Powers: Although about the size of a short sword, it will adapt itself to any weapon placed within. If a small weapon such as a dagger is sheathed, it will shrink in size to be a perfect fit. With a large weapon such as a claidhmore, it doesn't grow to fit but the inside will easily contain a blade of any length. The second power of the scabbard is that when worn, it and any weapon within it becomes unremarkable. They are not invisible but they become not worthy of notice. The eye sees them but the mind dismisses it as being as little of note as someone carrying an umbrella in the rain. Even if detected by security devices such as cameras or metal detectors, the operators will simply dismisses what they see or hear as something else such as a cellphone ringing. This effect ends instantly if the weapon is drawn and anyone with a Legend score has a chance to see it despite the effect (Perception + Awareness) vs Connor's Legend rating. As a minor note, the scabbard also keeps the weapon that's sheathed in pristine condition, cleaning it of any blood and even smoothing out any knicks in the edge.
Hearth's Brand	Purviews: None	This two-handed ring hilt sword has a single triscele engraved in the center of the guard and the blade gleams with a subtle flame red hue. (Stats: Acc +1, Dam +6L, Def +0, Spd 4)
3-Dot Relic	Abilities: It is a masterpiece of craftsmanship so despite its size, it is unusually light and perfectly balanced making it easier to maneuver than one would expect by looking at it (+1 Speed). It is also very deadly in the hands of the god-born (add legend to Dex+Melee). When drawn, the blade radiates a steady warmth that counters any effects or damage inflicted by environmental temperature, ice, frost, chilling wind, freezing water, etc (similar to Frost Immunity). This effect extends to a radius of (Legend) yards.
